About Jeff

Join Jeff Caplan, who weaves 30 years as a naturalist and a teacher of communication skills, to cultivate a common language for connecting more deeply with nature and birds. He has lead bilingual classes and walks for the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History, the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory and Monterey Bay Birding Festival. Internationally, he has gives workshops and keynotes in Malaysian, in the Amazon jungles of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Jeff combines story telling, citizen science and strengthening observation skills to inspire connection and stewardship among his audiences.
